After thirteen years as a high school art teacher, I have retired from my job at Arts Academy in the Woods. As a result, there will be no further posts on this blog. However, I know that a lot of people use it as a resource, so it will continue to be available for viewing & reading.
On this blog you will find some excellent student work, class assignments, research materials, etc.

Student Art - Figure Drawing
***
Here are some figure drawings from my high school students. We spent a couple weeks drawing from models; some of our dance students helped us out with some poses.
The poses were all pretty quick; none of them were over 10 minutes or so, many were less than that. First, some very fast warm-up sketches:

some comic relief, courtesy of one of my metal-head kids
(don't take this too seriously!)
