AAW student paints graffiti mural in our hallway

One of my art students, William Rundquist, painted this mural at school yesterday. He painted the whole thing in under three hours!

An Award-winning Portfolio

AAW Visual Art student Anthony Chirco recently competed in the Scholastic Art Awards, and has received a Gold Key award for his portfolio. Anthony also received two additional Gold Key awards for two of his paintings. Scholastic is highly competitive, so this is a real accomplishment.

Anthony is equally adept in 2D and 3D art-- drawing, painting, ceramic sculpture, and even glass. Congratulations, Anthony!
